TREK001-5: Trekking around holy Mt.Amny Machen

The key spot of this route is an unknown place - Amny Machen. This place and the Qinghaihu Lake (Kokonor Lake) used to belong to the northwest of Amdu Area. During eight days trekking here, we'll walk around the snow-covered Amny Machen, the Sacred Mountains in the hearts of Tibetans. This is also the pilgrim road, 200km long. The trekking route is with an elevation of 3000-4400m. The Sacred Mountain, Amny Machen is 6282 meters high above sea level. According to legend, the mountain was converted from the sword of King Gesar.
